Lonestar From the creators of Party of Five, this Texas-based soap opera about big oil families stars Adrianne Palicki and Jon Voight.
The Good Guys is a comedy-drama series about an old-school cop and a modern-day detective
Bob’s Burgers A new animated series about a man, his family and a burger joint.
Terra Nova A time-traveling drama back to prehistoric earth from executive producers Steven Spielberg, Peter Chernin, Brannon Braga and David Fury (it has yet to be scheduled).
Ride-Along A Chicago-based cop drama starring Jason Clarke. It’s from Shawn Ryan (The Shield).
Noista näin alkuunsa kiintoisimmalta vaikuttaa ehkä toi Terra Nova suurien nimien ja kunnianhimoisen idean takia. Piirrettyjä en jaksa yleensä edes katsoa ja jeparisarjoja tulee jo ihan liikaa. Lonestar vaikuttaa ehkä epäkiinnostavimmalta, vaikka Jon Voight mainio mies onkin. Näin ennakkoa ajatellen noista sarjoista voisi pilotit tarkistaa ainakin Terra Novasta ja Running Wildestä. Mahdollisesti myös Ride-Alongista mikäli saa paljon kehuja.

The Event vaikuttaa tykiltä, toivottavasti hyvin tehty eikä saa heti kirveestä. Meitsi on ihan sucker tommosille ison profiilin sarjoille salaliittojuonilla (Vanished, 24, Flashforward, Prison Breakin eka kaus...). Potentiaalia on, toivottavasti se käytetään. Komedioista Friends With Benefits ainakin vaikuttaa tsekkaamisen arvoiselta kun Arrested Developmentin nikkari on mukana tekijätiimissä ja yhtenä pääosanesittäjistä nähdään Fran Kranz (foorumillakin huomiota herättänyt Dollhousen Topher). Harry's Law'ssa on ainakin Six Feet Underissa todella loistavasti näyellyt Kathy Bates mutta se ei taida nostaa kiinnostusprosenttia itse sarjaa kohtaan tarpeeksi korkealle. Greg Grunberg tweettasi olevansa ihan innoissaan Love Bitesista, mutta koska sarja tulee Sex and the Cityn tekijältä, en tiedä voiko siitä oikein innostua (varsinkin kun Grunberg tuntuu aina olevan innoissaan kaikesta mitä tekee : D, hyvä näyttelijä ja hauska heppu kyllä ei siinä).

Defenders ja Blue Bloods vaikuttaa sellaselta Law and Order, CSI, Cold Case, Criminal Minds yms yms tyyliseltä geneeriseltä peruskauralta. Chuck Lorre taas edustaa mulle sellaista perus hassunhauskaa amerikkalaista valmiiksinaurettua ja valmiiksipureskeltua sitcomia. Twitterkomedia ei vaikuta erityisen erityiseltä joten huomioni CBS:n uusista sarjoista kiinnittyy Hawaii Five-O:hun. Battlestar Galacticasta tuttu Grace Park ja Lostin daniel dae Kim ovat ilmeisesti jonkin sortin pääosissa tuossa remakessa 70-luvun jeparisarjasta, joten Hawaii Five-O on ainut joka erottuu muista CBS:n varsin laimean oloisista sarjauutuuksista.

Ehkä laimein uusi ohjelmatarjonta isoista kanavista näin ennakkoon on ABC:llä. Ainoastaan My Generation herättää edes pientä kiinnostusta. Jos Happy Endings saa kovasti kehuja, siitä voisi tsekata pilotin. Onhan siinä ihana Elisha Cuthbert.

Nikita stars Maggie Q as Nikita, a spy and assassin who has gone rogue. She is now working to bring down Division, the secret government agency which recruited her. Meanwhile, Division trains its next crop of young killers.
Hellcats vaikuttaa juuri sellaiselta tyttöjensarjalta jonka voikin olettaa tulevan CW:ltä (Gossip girl, vampire diaries...). Nikitassa on mahdollisuudet hyvään sarjaan jos tuotantoarvot ovat kohdallaan. Iso nimi pääosassa ja suht mielenkiintoinen alkuasetelma. Valitettavasti vaan rasitteena remake-status. Täysin uutena sarjana olisi voinut toimia paremminkin. Nyt veikkaan että saa kirveestä heti alkukaudesta jollei ole vähintään täydellinen sarja.

Lights Out, from Executive Producer/Showrunner Warren Leight (In Treatment) and Creator/Executive Producer Justin Zackham (The Bucket List), stars Holt McCallany as an aging former heavyweight boxing champion who struggles to find his identity and support his wife and three daughters after retiring from the ring.
Terriers, from Creator/Executive Producer Ted Griffin (Ocean's Eleven) and Executive Producer Shawn Ryan (The Shield), is a comedic drama starring Donal Logue (Damages) and Michael Raymond-James (True Blood). It centers on "Hank Dolworth" (Logue), an ex-cop who partners with his best friend "Britt Pollack" (Raymond-James) to launch an unlicensed private investigation business.
Kaikki vaikuttavat tekijä/näyttelijä/juoni- osastoilta olevan vakuuttavaa FX-tasoa. Aika yllättävää kyllä että ei niin hirveän tunnetulta kaapelikanavalta puskee kolme uutta sarjaa syksyyn 2010. Mikään noista ei kyllä automaattisesti ole pakkokatsottava , muiden suositteluja odotellessa.

Boardwalk Empire set in Atlantic City, New Jersey during the Prohibition era. Starring Steve Buscemi, the show is adapted from Nelson Johnson's book, by Emmy award-winning screenwriter and producer Terence Winter of The Sopranos.The pilot episode was directed by Martin Scorsese and he is expected to continue to be creatively involved in the ongoing production.
Odotetusti HBO:n tarjonta on kaikista kanavista lupaavin. Game of thornesia on odotettu valtavalla innolla jo reilusti yli vuoden päivät ja Boardwalk Empire sisältää tv-sarjamittakaavassa pari päräyttävän isoa nimeä (Martin Scorsese, Steve Buscemi). Molemmat sarjat menevät välittömästi seurantaan kun alkavat.

AMC:

Huolimatta AMC:n omien ohjelmien tarjonnan vähyydestä AMC on tunnettu sitäkin laadukkaammasta tasosta (kanavan kaksi ainota originaalisarjaa ovat mahdollisesti juuri kaksi arvostetuinta sarjaa tällähetkellä televisiossa, eli Breaking Bad ja Mad Men). Rubicon vaikuttaa siis todella mielenkiintoiselta uutuudelta vaikka jo esitetty pilottijakso ei hirveästi kehuja olekaan kerännyt.
